bot responses

I recently read a comment in my previous post about dccAssist misinterpreting responses from bots. I’m eager to fix such issues, please post any examples here. (network/channel/bot/problem).

Incidentally, I’m more than willing to fix any issues, so please let me know, the more information the better. I rarely use the downloading side of dccAssist myself these days, so I’m quite out of touch.

    Sry forget to say its with every bot on every server ….

    it now puts some wired sings, the server , the bot and many strange numbers in front of the pack description. Quite difficult to search the packs that way.

    greets again…

    allow me to give out some comment about dccassist 1.80b2. it all worked great! i love it so much about queue things and stuff, it really saved me. but one thing i found out. its the option to “shutdown when download complete” stuff. when i enable that option, i thought that when all my queue is finished, it will auto shutdown the computer. but what happened is that, although i got 2 more files in my queue, its already shutdown my pc. this means that the shutdown option will auto shutdown when the “current downloading” file is finish and not when all the stuff that have been queued in the list is finish downloading.

    sorry, i thought it would be great to have “auto shutdown when all files in queue are complete” features. when i got only a few files to be queued, say… around 4? and i dont have to let my pc goes online all day when i go to work or something in the early morning.

    anyway, im really grateful with dccassist so far! thanks again! :D

    Hello,

    First, thanks for the awesome script! I’ve used it when needed for a couple of years now.

    I just got a new machine (Vista x64) with mIRC 6.34.

    Upon loading the script into the fresh install I have the following error showing up:
    * /drawsave: error allocating memory (line 4306, dccAssist.mrc)

    I just tested it and while it seems to work, I got another error message:
    * /filter: invalid window (line 4760, dccAssist.mrc)

    FYI, keep up the great work and thanks for any time you can deditcate to this awesome script.

    Hi BlackAle and many thanks for this great tool of yours that you have given us.
    I’m currently on mIRC v6.32 and don’t dare to go any newer cause I’m afraid that b2 will not work. Are my fears justified?
    Also, the automatic shutdown doesn’t seem to work for me. Although the window asking if I’m sure to shut the computer down does appear, nothing else happens afterwards. I also get the message:

    * /run: unable to open file ‘rundll.exe’ (line 1656, dccAssist.mrc)

    (this is happening on a Vista Ultimate 32-bit machine)

    Cheers and again many thanks for this great script of yours.
