I’ve finally registered mIRC for a mere $20 (~£10) …I’ve had a reasonable amount of support from users for dccAssist over the years, so I’ve finally decided to pay homage to the author of mIRC, as without he, dccAssist wouldn’t of been possible.

The most executed and idled software in computing
Every time I try to list channels it gives me this error. Maybe you already have a fix for this?

line 388? .. is anyone a fix for this?
When I installed the program, I put it in C:\program files\mIRC, but when it came time to put dccassist file in to the folder, it needed to me, “C:\Documents and Settings\ … \Application Data\mIRC\” Which worked for me.
But, my problem is when I type “/list” to get a channel list it tells me “* /filter: unable to open file ‘C:\Documents and Settings\ … \Application Data\mIRC\clists\1-All-Crucial-X.txt’ (line 388, dccAssist.mrc)
When I try to create a filter to let me see the list, i had no idea what to type… any ideas?

Did you try moving your whole mIRC folder to somewhere that doesn’t have spaces in the path.. like ‘d:\mirc’ for example ?

* /filter: unable to open file ‘H:\mIRC\clists\Rizon.txt’ (line 388, dccAssist.mrc) still comes up
Also moved the texts
At least with number of channels on rizon if youre quick you can click some to join
I’ve finally fixed that issue with /list, I’ll release beta2 this week (I promise!)
Having spaces in the path is irrelevant to dccAssist.
or not, though it seems no one cares anyways. phew
No status updates in the status window with 6.31 and newest dccassist. not sure what the problem is

there is NOTHING like this script anywhere. and us that don’t torrent (much) need this. but I will wait patiently (for awhile
